Nodra vs UiPath
UiPath helps you automate what your people already know. Nodra finds what nobody knew could be automated.
UiPath builds automation, and its discovery tools are designed to feed it. In Automation Hub, employees submit ideas and answer an assessment that computes an idea score. Task Capture then records the process while someone performs it, with a screenshot at every click, to produce its documentation. UiPath Task Mining goes further and collects a screenshot and a log entry for each user action.
That approach finds the automations someone already had in mind, and it asks your people to spend time describing their own work. Nodra looks for what is invisible to everyone: the steps repeated across teams, the switching between tools, the waits nobody counts. No one has to submit, document or record anything, and the agent never captures screenshots or keystrokes.
What gets submitted, and what is really there
Above the line, the ideas your teams know to submit and document. Below it, the repeated work nobody sees, which Nodra brings to the surface.
Nodra vs UiPath, side by side
| Dimension | Nodra | UiPath |
|---|---|---|
| Where opportunities come from | Observed data on how work flows, across every application | Ideas employees submit, assessed with a questionnaire |
| Effort for your employees | None: people keep working as usual | Submitting ideas, answering assessments, recording processes |
| Finds work nobody thought of | Yes, that is the point of the audit | Only within the work people submit or record |
| Screenshots | Never, in any configuration | Task Capture and Task Mining capture screenshots of user actions |
| Who analyzes the findings | Our analysts verify each one and explain it in a meeting | Your automation team, inside the UiPath platform |
| Independence | Vendor-neutral: build each finding with any tool | Designed to feed UiPath robots and agents |
| After the change | Nodra measures again and shows the time recovered | Monitoring of the UiPath automations |
| Data protection | Minimized on the device, pseudonymized, Italian infrastructure | UiPath Automation Cloud, or a self-hosted Automation Suite |
Why companies choose Nodra over UiPath discovery
It finds what nobody thought to submit
The most expensive repeated work rarely makes it onto an idea list. Nodra finds it in the data, across teams, and ranks it by the time it costs.
Zero effort from your people
Nobody fills in forms, records a process or answers an assessment. Your teams keep doing their own work while the agent observes in the background.
No screenshots, ever
The agent never captures screenshots, keystrokes or content. Data is minimized on the device and pseudonymized before it leaves.
Nodra or UiPath: which should you choose?
UiPath helps you automate what your people already know. Nodra shows you what nobody could see: consulting on the work that is invisible to everyone, with no hours taken from your teams. Start with Nodra, and build with UiPath afterwards if you choose.
UiPath fits when you already run UiPath robots, you know which processes to automate, and you want discovery wired straight into bot development.

Nodra vs Celonis
Celonis tells you how your company should work. Nodra makes the way you already work go faster.
Nodra vs employee monitoring software
Both put an agent on a computer. Everything after that is the opposite, and the difference is the whole point.

Frequently asked questions
Is Nodra a UiPath Process Mining alternative?
For deciding what to automate, yes. UiPath discovery is designed to feed UiPath automation and relies on ideas and recordings from your employees. Nodra is independent: it observes how work flows, finds the opportunities in the data and leaves you free to build them with any tool.
Do our employees have to document their processes?
No. With Nodra nobody submits ideas, fills in questionnaires or records their work. The agent observes how work flows in the background, and our analysts do the analysis.
Does Nodra take screenshots like Task Capture or Task Mining?
No. The Nodra agent never captures screenshots, keystrokes, or the content of emails and documents, in any configuration. It keeps only how work flows: which tool, in what order, for how long.
Can Nodra findings be implemented with UiPath?
Yes. Each finding describes the workflow, its volumes and a suggested approach, which a UiPath team can build directly. Nodra then measures again to verify the gain.
Do we need RPA at all?
Not always. Many findings are solved with simple integrations, configuration changes or small scripts, which cost far less than robots. Independent discovery keeps those options visible.
